On Sunday, May 12, a scientific day was organized at the conclusion of the Mansoura Faculty of Medicine’s campaign to introduce and raise awareness for Heart Muscle Weakness Day, in cooperation with the Egyptian Society of Cardiology, entitled:
“Heart Failure Awareness Day.
In the presence of Professor Dr. Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the College
And Mr. Professor Dr. Nabil Farag, President of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology.
The day began with the Dean of the College praising the importance of the role of awareness campaigns in educating the community about common diseases and how to prevent them. He also praised the essential role played by young doctors to achieve the maximum benefit from these campaigns.
The Professor, President of the Egyptian Society of Cardiology, agreed and added some advice to cardiologists when diagnosing cases of heart patients.
The 15 doctors participating in the campaign were also honored
The day's activities began with a lecture
Prof. Dr. Shadi Hussein, entitled:
Heart failure overview.
This was followed by a lecture by Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Moji entitled:
Mansoura cardiology department combat heart failure.
Then Prof. Dr. Muhammad Sanad gave a lecture entitled:
Role of Surgery in Heart Failure.
The day concluded with a lecture by Dr. Muhammad Jaber entitled:
Mansoura Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery Center Overview.
The day’s activities were concluded by Prof. Dr. Ghada Al-Qunaishi, the college’s dean for community service and environmental development affairs
