The Higher Committee for Community Service and Environmental Development Sector Activities held its regular meeting today, Wednesday, August 7, 2024, headed by Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and in the presence of committee members from various faculties at the university.

Prof. Dr. / Samah Hafez - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Community Service Affairs, Prof. Dr. / Alaa Al-Tamimi - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Law for Community Service Affairs, Prof. Dr. / Alaa Al-Aishi - Assistant Professor of Architecture at the Faculty of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. / Abeer Tawkel - Assistant Professor and Director of the Artificial Intelligence Program at the Faculty of Engineering, Assistant Professor Dr. / Amr Gabr - General Coordinator of Sector Activities. Dr. / Mohamed Galal - Lecturer of Management at the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. / Omar Samir - Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine and Director of the E-Learning Unit, Dr. / Hossam Al-Hilali - Administrative Coordinator of the Decent Life Convoys in the Sector.

Several important topics were discussed during the meeting, including future plans for community service and environmental development activities.

The Vice President of the University opened the meeting with a welcoming speech, in which he stressed the importance of the committee's role in developing and implementing environmental and social projects in line with Egypt's Vision 2030. He pointed out the importance of cooperation between various parties to achieve the desired goals.

A detailed report was also presented on the achievements made by the committee during the past period, in addition to reviewing new initiatives that will be launched soon. The discussions included proposals to enhance cooperation with governmental and private institutions to support environmental and community programs.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the committee members for their continuous efforts, stressing the need to continue working in a team spirit to achieve sustainable progress in the community service and environmental development sector.
