Mansoura University continues its journey to eradicate illiteracy in Tanboul Al-Kubra village in Sinbilawein Center, Monday, October 14, 2024

As part of Mansoura University's continuous efforts to serve the community and contribute to its development, and under the generous patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mansoura University launched a new literacy convoy in the village of "Tanboul Al-Kubra" affiliated to the Sinbilawein Center in Dakahlia Governorate.

🎯 "Dakahlia Without Illiteracy" Initiative 🎯
This convoy comes within the "Dakahlia Without Illiteracy" initiative, which is implemented by the Adult Education Center at Mansoura University, in cooperation with the Adult Education Authority in Dakahlia and the coordinators of the Adult Education Committee at the Faculty of Specific Education. This initiative aims to improve the quality of life for citizens, by eliminating illiteracy and enhancing the capabilities of individuals in local communities.

💡 Support from the President's Initiative "A New Beginning for Human Building"
This effort comes within the framework of achieving the goals of the President's Initiative "A New Beginning for Human Building", which seeks to develop local communities and enhance the skills of individuals, thus contributing to achieving sustainable development.

📚 Wide turnout from the villagers
The convoy received a great turnout from the villagers, as a large number of those wishing to learn were recruited, and certificates of success were delivered to new learners. An awareness seminar was also organized on the "Bidaya" initiative and the role of literacy and adult education in improving the quality of life in the Egyptian countryside, and achieving sustainability.

🌿 Supporting women and qualifying youth
Mansoura University does not stop there, as it also provides awareness services to support women through awareness of entrepreneurship and qualifying youth for the labor market. This was done in a meeting with rural pioneers in one of the villages of Sinbilawein Center, in cooperation with the Social Solidarity, Youth and Sports Institutions.
