Today, Thursday, March 20, 2025, the "Carbon Footprint and Sustainability Trainers Preparation" training program was launched at the Environmental Impact Assessment and Environmental Consulting Center at Mansoura University — an expertise house accredited by the Ministry of Environment under No. 103/4/11/2024. The program is held under the patronage of Professor Sherif Khater, President of the University, supervised by Professor Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and chaired by Professor Zainab Abu El-Naga, Director of the Center, in partnership with the United Nations "Climate Ambassadors" initiative.

The program features a distinguished group of training experts, including Ambassador Dr. Mostafa El-Sherbiny, an international expert in sustainability and climate risk assessment, Professor Yahia Helmy, the scientific director of the Chemical Warfare Consulting Office, and Shaimaa Zohair, the Center's communication officer.

The program aims to train participants on carbon footprint and sustainability concepts, preparing them as qualified trainers to transfer knowledge and promote environmental awareness. This initiative aligns with both international and local efforts to combat climate change and support sustainable development.
