The anti-addiction and Abuse Committee at Mansoura University organized an Awareness activities Ceremony that support the awareness programs on the dangers of addiction at the university’s faculties, on the morning of Tuesday, March 15, in cooperation with the Faculty of Education and the Fund for Combating and Treatment of Addiction and Abuse. That was under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Abd Al-Basit, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mahmoud Al-Meligi, Vice-President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

Where a video was shown about the awareness activities of the anti-addiction and Abuse Committee at Mansoura University in all faculties throughout the academic year, various artistic activities were presented including poetry, prose, and singing. Then the Anti-Addiction Unit theater team in Dakahlia Governorate presented a theatrical performance entitled “The Last Scene” written by Amr Hassan, directed by Samah Ashraf and starring Dr. Ibrahim Zahran and Al-Wahda team.

At the end of the ceremony, the operetta “Aysheen Bnhlam Bbokra” was presented, and all participants were honored. Also an art exhibition was held on the sidelines of the ceremony, which includes awareness paintings about addiction made by students from the Faculty of Medicine, Education, Engineering and Arts and volunteers from the Anti-Addiction Unit in Dakahlia.
