Meeting with representatives of the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Authority

Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy, Vice President for Community Service Affairs, held a meeting this morning, Sunday, May 29, with Dr. Mahmoud Zain El-Abidin - Director of Entrepreneurship Sector in the Enterprise Development Authority, in the presence of Prof. Wafaa Jamil - Director of Professional Development Centers at the university, Prof. Eman Abul Fadl - Head of the Mansoura University team for the development of the Egyptian countryside, Prof. Ahmed Ramadan - Director of the Professional Development Center at the Faculty of Commerce, Dr. Ahmed Tharwat - Director of the Small Industries Support Center at the university, and Mr. Ayman Moussa - Head of the Small, Medium and Micro Enterprise Development Authority in Dakahlia Governorate, and the representatives of the Authority in the governorate, to discuss aspects of joint cooperation between the university and the Enterprise Development Authority in the governorate.

During the meeting, aspects of cooperation was discussed with the Small Enterprise Development Authority in the implementation of the Mansoura University initiative to train final-year students in university faculties on entrepreneurship programs, and discuss mechanisms for tracking entrepreneurs and providing appropriate support. As well as discussing aspects of the Small Enterprises Development Agency's support to the Project Support Committee of the Mansoura University Team for developing the Egyptian countryside within the presidential initiative "Hayat Karima".

The meeting also discussed aspects of cooperation and support from the Small Enterprise Development Authority for the Mansoura University initiative to design a mobile application entitled "Your Project", which includes all loan donors, the type of loan, the interest rate, the method of application and the facilities provided for obtaining the loan. In addition to discussing support for entrepreneurship and self-employment training with elements from the University and the Enterprise Authority, and holding exhibitions to market university graduate projects as well as marketing them on the presidential platform “Egyptian Hands”, the Transformational Training Protocol concluded with Resala Charity Association was also discussed.
