The end of Mansoura University awareness convoy activities in the village of Burqin, Senbilawin

In the keen of Mansoura University to maximize its societal role in serving the surrounding community, and in the framework of the Egyptian countryside development national project within the “Hayat Karima” initiative. Today, Monday, May 23, the Mansoura University awareness convoy launched to provide its services to the people of Burqin village in Sinbillawain Center, under the auspices of Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy - Vice President for Community Service Affairs, Dr. Haitham El-Sheikh - Dakahlia Deputy Governor, coordinated by Dr. Iman Abul-Fadl - Coordinator of “Hayat Karima” Initiative at Mansoura University, and Eng. Shaima Al-Siddiq - Coordinator of “Hayat Karima” Initiative in Dakahlia Governorate, and with the participation of the Specific Education Faculty students team

The events included organizing meetings with a number of parents, farmers, housewives and a number of workers in the local unit to raise their awareness of literacy and adult education importance. Where Prof. Amani Ghabbour, Head of the Literacy and Adult Education Committee, introduced the awareness role provided by Mansoura University in the Egyptian countryside development in the villages of Dakahlia Governorate. She referred to many important issues that support the decent life, and emphasized the importance of eliminating illiteracy within the village, as it is the entrance to many services. She also stressed the need for concerted efforts to achieve a decent life for citizens.
