Community Service and Environment Development Affairs Council Meeting - June 2022

The Community Service and Environmental Development Council of Mansoura University held its meeting No. 250 on Monday morning, 20/6/2022. headed by Prof. Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Meligi - vice president of the University for community service and environmental development Affairs, at the community service hall on the third floor of the University's General Administration Building, in the presence of the vice deans of the faculties for community service and environmental development Affairs, and the council members from abroad.

At the beginning of the council meeting, Prof. Mahmoud Al- Meligi thanked Prof. Samir Attia, former director of emergency hospital, and member of the medical committee of Mansoura University’s Golden Jubilee celebration for the efforts he made during his tenure as the director of the emergency hospital at the University. He also thanked Prof. Muhammad Ali Shata, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, for the efforts he made during his tenure as vice dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the faculty of Agriculture. He also thanked Mrs. Zainab Ahmed Kandil, former Director General of the General Administration for Community Service and Environmental Development, for the efforts she made during her tenure as the director of the General Administration for Community Service Affairs, as well as the administration for monitoring and evaluating the performance of special nature units at the university.

He also congratulated Prof. Metwally Muhammad Abu Saree for his appointment as Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Mr. Muhammad Abd al-Hamid Suliman for appointing him as acting director of the General Administration of Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs.

Then he presented a report on the university's participation in the national project for the development of the Egyptian countryside during the month of May 2022, and praised the efforts made by all participants in organizing and implementing events in the villages selected for development within the "Hayat Karema" initiative. At the end of the meeting, El-Meligy stressed the need to pay attention to the occupational safety and health file and the need to conduct safe evacuation experiments to train college staff on how to safely evacuate.
