Community Service Council Meeting, Session 251 - August 2022

The Council of Community Service and Environmental Development at Mansoura University held its session no. (251) on Tuesday, 23/8/2022, chaired by Prof. Mahmoud Mohammed Al-Meligy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and acting president of the University, this was in the community service hall on the third floor of the University's General Administration Building, in the presence of the vice deans for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the members of the council from abroad.

At the beginning of the council meeting, Prof. Mahmoud El-Meligy thanked Prof. Yasser Al-Shabrawy, Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, for his efforts during his tenure as Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development at the College of Pharmacy.

He also announced the readiness of Mansoura National University to start studying in the new academic year 2022/2023, in four faculties: the Faculty of Human Medicine, the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine, the Faculty of Pharmacy, and the Faculty of Engineering.

Then he presented a report on the university's participation in the national project for the development of the Egyptian countryside during June and July 2022. He praised the efforts made by all participants in organizing and implementing events in the villages that were selected for development within the "Hayat karima" initiative.

At the end of the meeting, El-Meligy stressed the need to adhere to the policy of reducing and rationalizing electricity consumption in all faculties and units at the university.
