Launching Employment and Graduates Forum of the Year 2019, Faculty of Science, Mansoura University
On Monday, 8/4/2019, the recruitment forum for students and graduates at the Faculty of Science, Mansoura University, organized by the Community Service and
Environmental Development Sector and the Office of the Follow-up of Graduates was launched under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Abd El-Basset, President of Mansoura University, in the presence of Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed El Meligi, Vice-President of the University; Prof. Adel Mohamed Genidi, Dean of the Faculty; Prof. Rizk Mostafa Ibrahim, Vice-Dean for Community Service and Environment Development; Dr. Awad Ibrahim Ahmed, Head of the Syndicate of Scientific Professions; Prof. Zeinab Abu Elnaga, Chairman of the Center for Environmental Impact Assessment; Dr. Hisham Salam, Director of the Vertebrate Research Center; and Dr. Osama Abu El-Nasr, Director of the University Development Center.
The forum offers many opportunities (training, employment, free courses to prepare graduates for the labor market) and represents the window of the Faculty that helps the community decide the labor market needs. The forum provides the companies and institutions with the opportunity to offer training opportunities for students and graduates. In addition, it aims to host a lot of the graduate students to present their experiences to instill the sense of competition and hope among students.
In the opening ceremony of the forum, Prof. Mahmoud El Meligi, Vice-President of the University, confirmed that the Faculty of Science is one of the main faculties and contributors that make the university one of the top ranking among the Egyptian universities. The most important thing about the forum is how to qualify the student for the labor market. He assured that the government supports this approach through a clear strategy, that help qualify students and graduates, and create new jobs.
On the sidelines of the forum, a fair was opened in the presence of 20 participant companies, , such as (Elbadawia Company, Almostaqbal Company, Suez Canal for Life Insurance, Center for Professional Development).
