Opening workshops to train and qualify students and graduates to implement and manage small projects.
Under the directives of the President of A.R.E, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi in the presidential program to the qualify youth for the leadership on the need to promote the support of small enterprises as
one of the basic pillars of Egyptian national security, which represents the most important new areas in the third millennium, the workshops of training and qualifying of students and graduates began to implement and manage small projects under the slogan “Egypt is there for you as well as your university “on Monday, 18th March, 2019 at the V.I.P Visitors’ Hall, at the Student Services Complex under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of the University and the leadership of Prof. Mahmoud El Meligi, the Vice - President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The events were organized by a team called “students for Egypt”, and the Administration of Communications and Conferences in the Community Service Sector. The events were funded in cooperation with the Department of small and medium enterprises development and the Department of graduates employment during the period from 18:20 March 2019 in the presence of a representative of the Ministry of Manpower, staff members, businessmen, and experts in many fields including (roofs cultivation, landscaping, fish farming, handicrafts, software and maintenance of electronics, industry of detergents) to train students and graduates.
It is worth mentioning that the exhibition was implemented for young graduates, comprising 42 exhibitors in various disciplines, sharing their success stories and also the problems they face and ways to resolve them.
The workshops aimed at:
- Countering the threat of extremism and terrorism by modifying thought and culture.
- Contributing to support the Egyptian economy.
- Integrating youth into national projects to implement the vision of Egypt 2030.
- Honoring the owners of small and distinguished projects.
