Under the auspices of Prof. / Ashraf Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University and Prof. / Mahmoud El Meligi, Vice President for Community Service and 

Environment Development, the Department of Communications and Conferences of the Community Service and Environmental Development Department, in collaboration with the Student Welfare Department at Mansoura University organized on Tuesday, April 2, 2019 a ceremony honoring the ideal mother of Mansoura University and the mothers of martyrs of the armed forces and the police. The ceremony was held in the conference hall of the General Administration of the University , in the presence of a number of Deans of the Faculties and the members of the teaching staff, their assistants and employees, and a number of mothers of martyrs of the army and the police.

The honored mothers of Mansoura University were Prof. Amina Shalaby, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels; Dr. Mona Louis Asaad; Ms. Verona Ali, social activity specialist, Mrs. Nabila Soliman Gad; and Mrs. Fadwa Mohamed First Administrative Affairs Specialist.

The ceremony was attended by some of the honored mothers of the police martyrs: Ms. Hanan Bahloul, Ms. Ibtisam Sabry Ibrahim, Ms. Siham Mahmoud Fouad, Ms. Sabah Mahmoud Ramadan, Ms. Najwa Talaat, Ms. Nafisa El Sayed, Ms. Om Hashim Mohamed, Ms. Anwaar Hamdi, in addition to the mothers of the army martyrs: Mrs. Hassaneh Ramadan Al-Saidi, Mrs. Najah Al-Saeed Qassem, Ms. Fatima Shehata, Mrs. Nabila Abdel Mouti Omara and the mothers of injured soldiers of the military operations: Mrs. Hanan Abdel Meguid,Ms. Huda Mohamed Zakaria, Ms. Aziza Mohamed Abdel Sadiq, Ms. Howaida Mohamed Abdo.
