The feet were examined, a random blood sugar and urine analysis was performed for 148 diabetic patients, and a fundus examination was performed for 96 patients.
A case of diabetic foot was transferred to the vascular surgery clinic, 4 cases were transferred to the diabetic foot clinic at Al Batinah Specialist Hospital, and one case was transferred to the osteoporosis clinic.
In addition, 4 cases of retinopathy, 2 cases of macular lesion, 5 cases of cataract, and 1 case of corneal ulcer were transferred to the Ophthalmology and Surgery Center.
Faculty members from the College of Dentistry also provided the necessary treatment for 35 cases and referred 17 cases to clinics at the College of Dentistry.
