A seminar on educational technology and promoting a culture of sustainability at the Faculty of Computers and Information

Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Magdy Zakaria Rashad / Dean of the Faculty of Computers and Information, Prof. Dr. Noha Ahmed Heikal / Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Samah Tariq / Vice Dean of the College of Commerce for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. / Doaa Samir Hazza / Vice Dean of the College of Tourism and Hotels for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Noha Ahmed Heikal / Vice Dean of the College of Computers and Information for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz Al-Sabbagh / Head of the Educational Technology Department at the College of Education Quality .
The activities began with a speech by Prof. Dr. Noha Ahmed Heikal. She welcomed the guests and attendees and stressed the college’s keenness to spread the culture of sustainability among its employees. Then Prof. Doaa Samir addressed the introduction of the “Together...for Green Sustainability” initiative and its goals and the keenness of the Community Service and Development Affairs Sector. Environment at the university to spread the culture of sustainability within the university, then Prof. Dr. Hassan Abdel Aziz spoke about defining the meaning of sustainability, sustainable development goals, educational technology and its relationship to sustainability. Then Prof. Noha Ahmed Heikal addressed the definition of green technology and reviewed graduation and research projects. Scientific studies that aim to preserve the environment, such as the electronic irrigation system (transportation-sea land segmentation) and how to employ technology to maintain green sustainability. Then the discussion began with the students, and some inquiries and questions were raised and answered.
