At the beginning, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim welcomed the guests and indicated that the name of the competition and its axes would be changed. He explained that the international accreditation standards (6 standards) are in addition to the community service standard. Six universities were honored for their application of these standards. The university is in the process of concluding an agreement with the governor of Dakahlia to create advertising billboards during the renovation of the university wall, and they will conform to the standards and specifications. He also spoke about the issue of disposal of green, solid, and damaged waste, and that we always strive to do things that change reality for the better, and that there are great places in the university that can be viewed and benefited from. He strongly pointed out the necessity of applying electronic management in many places at the university and gave an example of the kidney center and its excellence in that. His Excellency spoke about the standards that must be applied for an environmentally friendly university, such as the climate change standard, and that there is an energy excellence center in the College of Engineering and a water studies center at the university and the necessity of activating it to benefit from it. And the waste disposal standard. He gave an example of the printing press (does it recycle papers and waste or not), the water standard, and that there are 3 water networks at the university (1 - drinking water network, 2 - turbid water network, 3 - groundwater network) and the transportation standard where the gentlemen were transported. Faculty members, private cars, golf cars in medical centers, student transportation, the standard of scientific research and its connections, and the use of smart technology. The seventh standard is everything that was stated in the previous competition and is not found in these standards. For her part, Prof. Dr. Samah Hafez thanked the previous team for obtaining the The first place was shared equally with Cairo University. She explained that the previous file included 10 criteria and that the competition this time will be easy with the presence of the current team and that we have strong files that reflect reality. She spoke briefly about biodiversity and the necessity of activating crisis and disaster management and activating their departments. As noted by A. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim about planning for the coming period and progress towards achieving the goal, and that the committee this time consists of more than 42 names that have a reputation and can compete strongly. He also pointed out activating the university’s electronic portals, unifying the form of service portals, paving the campus, and striving to implement a smart campus. As Prof. Noha Ahmed spoke about electronic tests, electronic correction, the provision of papers and inks within the university, and the possibility of evaluating the distinguished graduation project and using it by the university, Dr. Iman Khashaba also added that it is necessary to get rid of the old covenant and priests within the university. Prof. Dr. added: Muhammad Al-Zuhri: We are now working and focusing on important points that we did not work on in the previous competition, and this time we will achieve great success. Dr. Muhammad Abdel Azim added that we look at the university as a university and not as sectors, and a great file is now being prepared to change the university on the ground.
