Meeting of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Impact Assessment Center

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs met with the members of the Board of Directors of the Environmental Impact Assessment Center today, Monday, December 4, 2023 AD, in the presence of the following:

Prof. Ihab Abdel Latif Attia - Vice Dean of the College of Science for Postgraduate Studies, Prof. Alaa Al-Tamimi Abdo - Vice Dean of the College of Law for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Mohamed Al-Halawani - Director of the Environmental Studies Unit at the College of Engineering , Prof. Dr. Muhammad Al-Desouki Abdel Aziz - Professor and Chairman of the Board of the Dairy Department at the College of Agriculture, Dr. Zainab Shaaban Abu Al-Naja - Assistant Professor at the Animal Department at the College of Science, Dr. Muhammad Ibrahim Jar Al-Alam Rashid - Assistant Professor at the Department of Public Works at the College of Engineering Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Al Lotfy Sadiq - Assistant Professor in the Department of Botany at the Faculty of Science,Dr. Mustafa Mohamed Fathi Anan - Head of the Executive Authority of the Gamasa Industrial Zone, Dr. First Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Dakahlia.

At the beginning, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim welcomed the distinguished guests and ratified the minutes of the previous session (the Council was briefed). His Excellency inquired why there was no administrative body at the Center and stressed the necessity of the presence of administrators at the Center to activate its work and noted the necessity of having a permanent headquarters for the Center and the existence of an electronic website. To announce the center’s services and that there must be a services guide for the center and to submit a cooperation protocol with the College of Science, Engineering and Agriculture. He explained that the responsibility of this council is to activate this center in a strong manner and that there are strong possibilities to establish this center successfully and directed that this council should meet on a monthly basis in different places. To discuss the updates, Dr. Zainab Shaaban - Director of the Center also presented the Center’s topics to the attendees for discussion and explained that a list of prices for the services provided by the Center will be prepared and will be presented to the Council for discussion and approval. In conclusion, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim thanked all the attendees. For their interaction and valuable contributions to the discussions and efforts made, he also stressed the importance of joint work and dedication to work, as it represents a fundamental basis for achieving the strategic goals and desired results.
