“A seminar within the Know Your Country initiative... a tour of Egypt’s tourist attractions”
The Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Pharmacy - Mansoura University organized an educational symposium within the “Know Your Country...A Tour of Egypt’s Tourist Landmarks” initiative, within the framework of joint cooperation between the Community Service and Environmental Development Sectors at the University’s Faculties of Pharmacy and Tourism and Hotels on Thursday, December 7, 2023. In the Pharco Hall in the college’s administrative building, Ms. Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali - Director of the Human Resources Development Unit at the College of Tourism and Hotels, lectured under the patronage of Mr. Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of the University and Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed - Vice President for University Affairs. Community service, environmental development, and Ms.’s leadership, Prof. Dr. Manal Mohamed Eid - Dean of the College of Pharmacy, Mr. Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif - Dean of the College of Tourism and Hotels, and the supervision of Mr. Prof. Dr. Hani Ibrahim Qenawy - Vice Dean of the College of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and Ms. Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Hazza - Vice Dean of the College of Tourism and Hotels for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. In the generous presence of Mrs. Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Hazza - Vice Dean of the College of Tourism and Hotels for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mr. Prof. Dr. Khaled Bashir - Vice Dean of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Mr. Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Al-Sebaei - Head of the Drugs Department.
The symposium began with a welcome speech from Mr. Prof. Hani Qenawy - Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Mrs. Prof. Doaa Samir Hazza, Mrs. Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali, and the gentlemen attending.
The symposium began with the presentation of a promotional video about tourist patterns and tourism in Egypt, and Dr. Arwa Ahmed Ali spoke about Egypt’s distinguished geographical location and its impact on tourism. It was completed with a detailed explanation of the geographical location of Dakahlia Governorate, the most important landmarks, attractions and traditional tourism patterns available in the governorate, as these patterns are represented in tourism.
