The meeting comes within the framework of the disease awareness week for the various categories at Mansoura University. The activities include workshops on how to transmit this disease and prevent it for medical staff and workers at the university’s hospitals.
The scientific meeting is an activation of the cooperation protocol between Mansoura University Hospitals and the Ministry of Health in the field of holding scientific meetings to raise awareness for various groups.
It is worth noting that the World Health Organization considered the year 2030 to be the end of the disease’s existence and for the world to be free of AIDS. The Center for Counseling and Immunodeficiency was established in the three medical centers as a joint unit with the World Health Organization, the Supreme Council of University Hospitals, and the Ministry of Health, and it is supervised by A. Dr. Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, Professor of Endemic Diseases at Mansoura University
