The symposium began with the Republican Anthem, followed by a speech by Prof. Dr. Mohsen Al-Ghandour, during which he welcomed the cooperation between the community service and environmental development sectors in the two colleges and pointed out the importance of awareness seminars in motivating the community to visit various tourist attractions in Egypt.
Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Hazza pointed out the importance of the tourism industry and that it is one of the sources of national income and hard currency, the importance of domestic tourism, especially in times of crisis, and the role of tourism activity in deepening belonging to our beloved Egypt.
Then there was a lecture by Dr. Reham Mamdouh Abdel Maqsoud, during which he discussed clarifying the concept of tourism, its various types, and statistics that clarify Egypt’s tourism situation in relation to the world and clarifying the importance of domestic tourism. Then, it was moved to a tourist tour in Siwa Oasis, highlighting its most important tourist and archaeological landmarks, such as the Temple of Amun District, Shali Castle. , Mount of the Dead, the Salt Lakes and the Salt Cave and their importance for medical tourism. We moved on to another tour in the city of Marsa Alam, highlighting its most important tourist attractions such as the Wadi El Gemal Reserve, Abu Dabbab Bay, Samdai Reserve, the Abu Ghosoun ruins, Berenice village, Port Ghalib, and others.
