Opening of renovations to the permanent student camp in Gamasa

Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of Mansoura University, opened the new five-a-side stadium and developed the general plan for the permanent student camp to serve male and female students to hold various sports activities, matches, and competitions. In the presence of Prof. Dr. Yahya Al-Mashad - President of Delta University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Attia Al-Bayoumi - Vice President of Mansoura University for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, Prof. Dr. Tarek Ghaloush - Vice President The University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, Mr. Mohamed Abdel Latif - Secretary General of the University, Mr. Ashraf Taha - General Director of University Cities, Eng. His Excellency also laid the foundation stone for a permanent camp project for female students on an area of 1,200 square meters next to the permanent student camp in the city of Gamasa. The building consists of a ground floor and 4 floors, with a construction ratio of 800 square meters of the total area, to achieve the establishment of 48 rooms with integrated equipment. The establishment of the permanent camp for female students comes due to the increasing number of female students and the university’s desire to provide various services commensurate with the increasing number of students. Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater stressed that the university is keen to support all student activities and develop units that provide various artistic, cultural and sporting activities for students and which provide an appropriate university environment. The stadium has been implemented according to international specifications and approved measurements and is equipped with all special requirements to be an integrated model playground for students.
