Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University met with the team responsible for manufacturing car license plates today, Sunday, December 31, 2023, and they are:

Prof. Dr. Osama Badie - Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mahmoud Saafan - Deputy Director of the Information Technology Center, Dr. Mamdouh Al-Minshawy - Director of the Sustainability Center.

This was to discuss the manufacture of traffic signs using local materials in order to reduce imports, save foreign exchange, and circulate it to universities. Then, a presentation was made on the screen displaying the selection of the material from which the manufacture is made, the production of blank plates, the manufacture of engraving and color printing, and the safety features and quality control in manufacturing. Then A. Dr. Osama Badie made a video presentation for the attendees showing the methods of manufacturing car license plates. Then, His Excellency the Vice President of the University commissioned Prof. Dr. Osama to make a proposal to design a metal plate explaining the shape, color, electronic specifications, and method of manufacturing.
