The Faculty of Pharmacy hosts a symposium on “Reproductive Health Messages and Population Concepts,” Sunday, February 11, 2024

The Faculty of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the Faculty of Nursing, organized an awareness symposium under the title “Reproductive Health Messages and Population Concepts” on Sunday, November 11, 2024. This came under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of the University and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed - Vice President. President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Mrs. Entrepreneurship Professor Dr. Manal Mohamed Eid - Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy and Prof. Dr. Amina Al-Nimr - Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Hani Ibrahim Qenawi - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. Wafa Fathi Selim - Vice Dean of the Faculty of Nursing for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in the presence of Professor Amal Abdel Gawad - General Director of the Faculty. Present were Dr. Naglaa Mustafa Al-Sayed - Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Community Health Nursing and Dr. Dina Mohamed Ismail - Lecturer in the Department of Women's Health and Obstetrics. The symposium began with a speech by Prof. Dr. Hani Qenawi, welcoming Prof. Wafa Fathi Selim and Dr. Naglaa Mustafa Al-Sayed, Dr. Dina Muhammad Ismail, and the gentlemen attending. The symposium shed light on the following points: early marriage, consanguineous marriage, the impact of climate on reproductive health, healthy lifestyle, mental health (violence against women - and the forms of violence to which they are exposed (psychological violence - physical violence - financial violence - sexual violence - electronic violence - female genital mutilation).
