The Alumni Association Committee of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the College organized the “Graduates Skills Development Team” in cooperation with the Graduate Follow-up Unit at the College of Tourism and Hotels... Thursday 2/29/2024, a workshop entitled “Skills for Writing a CV and Passing a Personal Interview.”
Presented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Hammad; Assistant Professor in the Department of Tourism Studies at the College of Tourism and Hotels and member of the Community Service and Environmental Development Committee.. Dr. Hossam El-Din Al-Hilali; Doctorate in Sociology and Member of the Alumni Association Committee.
Eating A.M.D. Ahmed Adel Hammad; Steps to write a CV correctly and the elements that must be taken into consideration when writing a CV...and how to write some letters that can be attached to the CV, such as covering letter- motivation letter- recommendation letter. Dr. Hossam El-Din Al-Hilali also discussed: The importance and how to prepare for the labor market, the importance of writing a CV, and focus on the skills of passing a personal interview for employment.
Following the workshop, personal interviews were held for university graduates for employment at Belban Dairy Products Company, in the presence of Mr. Muhammad Younis Sorour, Human Resources Manager at the company, and the work team at the Human Resources Department.
The workshop was attended by (115) graduates and fourth-year students about to graduate...
21 graduates of the university applied for employment via Google form... 15 graduates of the College of Veterinary Medicine and 1 graduate of the College of Agriculture for quality control jobs... 3 graduates from the College of Tourism for jobs as pastry chef and team member... 2 graduates of the College of Law for legal affairs jobs.
It is worth noting that the workshop “Skills for writing a CV and passing a personal interview” will be implemented in all university faculties within the framework of the direction of the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at Mansoura University to enable graduates of the university and final-year students who are about to graduate to know how to write a CV with high professionalism and an advanced and developed curriculum. Also ensuring that they are familiar with everything they need when meeting with recruitment officials or managers and how to answer common questions, in cooperation with the graduate follow-up units in the university’s colleges.
