Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater - President of Mansoura University and the sponsorship of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs in cooperation with the Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs Sector at the Faculty of Science Under the sponsorship of Prof. Dr. Osama Al-Ayyan - Dean of the College Prof. Dr. Muhammad Fathi Abu Al-Nour - Vice Dean of the College for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. The Community Awareness Committee at Mansoura University, headed by Prof. Dr. Sahar Abdel Aziz Al-Dakrouri, organized an “awareness symposium entitled Occupational Safety and Health in the Work Environment,” in which Prof. Dr. Iman lectured. Khashaba - Professor of Industrial Medicine and Occupational Health at the College of Medicine and coordinator of the committee, and in the presence of committee members Prof. Dr. Samah Khamis - Coordinator of the committee, Dr. Amal Younis, Prof. Bilal Shaaban, and Dr. Amani Ramez - Coordinator of Occupational Safety and Health at the College. The symposium began with a welcome from Prof. Dr. Muhammad. Abu Al-Nour - Vice Dean of the College, then a speech by Prof. Dr. Sahar Al-Dakrouri - Chairman of the Committee. Then Prof. Dr. Iman Khashaba spoke about the different types of risks to which laboratory workers are exposed, the different types of chemicals, how to deal with them, methods of preserving and storing them, methods of preventing their dangers, protective tools for workers, and the necessity There were records for storing chemicals and chemical safety data. Then questions were opened to the attendees and a questionnaire was distributed to measure the extent of benefit from the symposium. Laboratory workers discussed their ways of dealing with chemicals and how to deal with expected risks.
