30 tourism and employment institutions participate in the third employment forum of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels, Mansoura University
Today, Tuesday, April 30, 2024 AD, the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels at Mansoura University organized the third employment forum under the slogan “Tourism cadres...partners in development.”
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, the forum activities were opened by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, in the presence of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abdel Latif, Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels and former Assistant Minister of Antiquities, Prof. Dr. Nisreen Salah Omar, Member of the House of Representatives, under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Mohamed Haza, Vice Dean of the College for Community Affairs and Environmental Development, and in the presence of Prof. Hazem Nasr, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of News and Head of the Syndicate of Journalists in Dakahlia, Rapporteur of the Forum, Dr. Israa Ahmed Abdel Majeed, Director of the Graduate Follow-up Unit. ,
The forum sessions were presented by Prof. Dr. Ahmed Adel Hammad; Chairman of the Scientific Committee - Dr. Reham Abdel Maqsoud, Chairman of the Reception Committee. The session began with the Republican Anthem and the Holy Qur’an in the voice of graduate Islam Mahmoud Mahmoud Al Morsi.
Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim stressed that Mansoura University is keen to build partnerships with major companies and entities working in the field of tourism and hospitality. We also emphasize encouraging and supporting continuous cooperation and the university welcomes hosting experts for training, providing practical experiences and training students to be qualified practically and scientifically.
He pointed out that these forums have a positive impact in linking the academic aspect to the requirements of the labor market and making students and graduates aware of the skills and specializations necessary to join the labor market and benefiting from the experiences of graduates and workers participating in the work of the forum in providing job opportunities for students and recent graduates.
Prof. Dr. Nisreen Omar indicated: Member of Parliament; The employment forum is a rich experience for the university and the graduate... For the university, the forum helps update academic programs to suit the needs of the labor market at home and also abroad, and for the student or graduate it is the first and practical experience to deal with the labor market and through it he will acquire many skills.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad Abdel Latif pointed out the necessity of training students practically, as the college began to pay attention to the practical aspect of training students. He added that the college is taking steps on the right path to achieve the desired goals. The college also seeks to connect students with the labor market, and that the employment forum reduces students’ tension about Their future is also directed to students, not just graduates.
Dr. Hossam Mohamed Mohamed Darwish noted: President of the African-Asian Federation for Tourism, Handicrafts, Traditional Industries and E-Commerce, pointed out the role that digital transformation plays in providing more job opportunities in the field of tourism.
Counselor Hossam confirmed his request to me; The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Labor in Dakahlia stressed the need for all institutions in the country to provide job opportunities for young people.
Prof. Dr. Doaa Samir Hazza added that a number of (30) tourism and hotel labor market institutions are participating in the exhibition accompanying the forum, with the participation of a group of experts in the tourism and hotel fields and human resources development.
It also emphasized the college's interest in the future of its graduates, so the college sought to be a link between the college and institutions in the tourism and hotel sectors.
Dr. Israa Abdel Majeed said that the aim of this forum is to encourage graduates and implement the Egypt 2030 strategy and vision set by the Arab Republic of Egypt in all sectors of the country, which adopted the development of the tourism and antiquities sector.

The first session of the Third Employment Forum included “Tourism Cadres...
