Meeting to discuss developing the visual identity of Mansoura University and Dakahlia Governorate according to the three dimensions of sustainable development and Egypt's Vision 2030., Monday, August 19, 2024
Today, a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, with the members of the Visual Identity Committee, Monday, August 19, 2024.
To discuss ways to develop the visual identity of Mansoura University and Dakahlia Governorate. The discussion included the following:
Enhancing the visual identity:
Discussing the general frameworks for developing the visual identity of Mansoura University in line with its academic and social mission.
Focusing on how to highlight the visual identity of Dakahlia Governorate in a way that reflects its history and cultural heritage.
The three dimensions of sustainable development:
Environmental dimension: Studying how to integrate environmental standards into the visual identity through designs that reflect environmental sustainability.
Economic dimension: Discussing how to employ the visual identity to support local economic growth and attract investments.
Social dimension: Enhancing the visual identity in a way that contributes to supporting community development and increasing cultural awareness.
Egypt Vision 2030:
Emphasizing that the visual identity of the university and the governorate is in line with Egypt Vision 2030, which focuses on sustainable development in all fields.
Decisions and recommendations:
Forming specialized working groups to study and develop the proposed visual identity elements.
Preparing a timeline for implementing the proposed amendments to the visual identity in line with the sustainable development goals.
Organizing workshops and events to introduce the local community and the academic community to the new visual identity and how to apply it.
Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim concluded the meeting by emphasizing the importance of this project in enhancing the university's position and maintaining it locally and internationally. He stressed the need to continue working hard to achieve the desired goals according to the specified time frames.
