Mansoura University organizes dialogue sessions between educational and industrial institutions within the activities of the Delta Universities Alliance
Mansoura University organized an event that is the first of its kind, within the framework of its presidency of the Delta Universities Alliance this year 2024, under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater - President of Mansoura University, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs. And the coordination of Prof. Dr. / Abeer Tawkol - Director of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program and Coordinator of the Startup Grind Team, this was held at the headquarters of Creativa, the Digital Egypt Creativity Center at Mansoura University.
Mansoura University organizes this event "Startup Grind - Meet Up 2" in its second edition, within the framework of implementing the university's plan to achieve the goals of the alliance emanating from the national strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and to achieve the principle of integration between educational, industrial and research institutions, and the business sector to implement the state's goals to achieve sustainable development according to Egypt's Vision 2030.
The delegations of the participating universities were received, namely: Menoufia University, Kafr El-Sheikh University, Damietta University, Sadat City University, Delta University, New Mansoura University, Mansoura Private University, Samanoud Technological University, in addition to the delegation of Mansoura University. Dialogue sessions were held on investment. It was attended by businessmen, investors, and advisory sessions attended by business consultants, and a collaborative research session to find innovative solutions in the Delta region, with the attendance of 25 emerging companies from Egyptian university students, and the presentation of 50 creative ideas, and they all received advisory sessions from experts and participating delegations, in the presence of a number of university leaders in Egyptian universities, including: Professor Dr. Khaled Jaafar, Vice President of Sadat University, Professor Dr. Amani Shaker, Vice President of Kafr El-Sheikh University, Professor Dr. Magda El-Sherbiny, Vice President of Delta University, Professor Dr. Mohsen Azzam, Advisor to the President of Menoufia University, Professor Dr. Maha Tony, Coordinator of the Innovation Office of Menoufia University, Professor Dr. Adel Ali El-Naklawy, Supervisor of Kafr El-Sheikh University, Professor Dr. Mahmoud El-Amir, Supervisor of Damietta University, Professor Dr. El-Metwally Mustafa Selim, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Damietta, Professor Dr. Suzy Fayez, New Mansoura University, and with the participation of many supervisors of student delegations from these universities with a delegation representing faculty members, members of the administrative apparatus, and a number of students interested in the field.
