On Monday 10/21/2024, the fourth activities of the third introductory week were held for the activities of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty; Where the Crisis and Disaster Management, Safety and Occupational Health Unit held a workshop "Fire Safety and Introduction to the Crisis Management Unit".

Eng. M. Gamal Ibrahim Gado lectured in it; Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Hotel Studies and former Deputy Director of the Crisis Management Unit... During which he introduced the college staff to the Crisis and Disaster Management Unit and Occupational Safety and Health at the college, its mission and objectives, then reviewed the causes of fires, types of fires and how to deal with them... He explained the types of fire extinguishers and how to use these extinguishers with each type of fire and how to safely evacuate the college buildings... At the end of the workshop, the participants were given practical training on how to use fire extinguishers.
