In implementation of the initiative of His Excellency the President of the Republic for human development "A new beginning for building the human being" and specifically the initiative of Egypt's industries in the universities that was launched on 8/28/2024 and in our belief in the role of the Faculty of Science in this initiative and based on Egypt's vision 2030 and achieving the goals of sustainable development and specifically the seventh goal "Clean energy at reasonable prices", and in interaction with the directives and policies of the state and the university on the necessity of taking the hand of graduates in general and graduates of the Faculty of Science in particular and overcoming the difficulties they face in the employment process to allow them the opportunity to build their country and serve their community and participate effectively in the field of science and work and in the field that preserves their dignity and dignity for its great impact on their progress and their effective participation in the renaissance of the state, to work on qualifying students of the Faculty of Science before and after graduation For the field of work and bridging the gap between academic study and the needs and requirements of the labor market in its various fields.

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. / Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, and the auspices of Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. / Osama Ibrahim Al-Ayan, Dean of the College, and the leadership of Prof. Dr. / Mohamed Fathy Abu Al-Nour, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Science for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the supervision of Dr. / Iman Mohamed Abdel Hadi, Director of the Graduates Follow-up Unit and the organization of the Environmental Pioneers Team.

Within the framework of the college's keenness to qualify students and graduates for the labor market and the role of the Graduate Follow-up Unit and the university's social responsibility, a workshop entitled "Applications in the Use of Used Cooking Oils in the Production of Biofuel" was held on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 11 am to 1 pm in Hall 2 of the Faculty of Science. It was opened by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Fathy Abu El Nour, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, who stressed the importance of these workshops and that they came in activation of the initiative of His Excellency the President of the Republic for Human Development "A New Beginning for Building the Human Being", specifically the Egyptian Industrial Initiative in the universities that was launched on 8/28/2024, and in our belief in the role of the Faculty of Science in this initiative and based on Egypt's Vision 2030 and achieving the goals of sustainable development, specifically the seventh goal "Clean Energy at Reasonable Prices", and in interaction with the directives and policies of the state and the university, as the sector has a vision and a systematic plan to raise the level of students and graduates of the college by holding Training courses and workshops. His Excellency stressed the importance of the training courses provided by the sector to graduates through the Graduates Follow-up Unit because these courses qualify them for the labor market and help them compete with graduates of other colleges to make them distinguished and thus attract them through business institutions, companies and various factories. His Excellency welcomed the attendees and extended his thanks and appreciation to Delta Oil Recycling Company - Delta Oil, especially to Engineer Mohamed Mohamed Ezz El-Din Abdel Latif, Business Development Officer at Delta Oil Recycling Company - Delta Oil, and Engineer / Shorouk Essam El-Din Daghidi, Mechanical Engineer at Delta Oil Recycling Company - Delta Oil, and Engineer / Jacqueline Gharib Shukrallah Shenouda, Mechanical Engineer at Delta Oil Recycling Company - Delta Oil, as they provided distinguished content to support graduates of the Faculty of Science to qualify them for the labor market. The trainees also praised the importance of the workshop and that it added a lot to their knowledge. Such workshops must be held to qualify and prepare college graduates with the requirements of the labor market in this field. They praised the large number of people interested in the field of recycling used oils and converting them to biodiesel.
