As part of the activities of the President's Initiative for Human Development under the slogan "A New Beginning to Build a Human," and under the patronage of His Excellency Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and His Excellency Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim Mohamed, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Childhood Care and Development Center, with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Riham Ahmed Afifi, Director of the Center, the Special Needs Unit at the Center hosted children from a school for children with hearing impairment to implement an educational and recreational day.
The day included speech therapy sessions tailored for cochlear implant recipients and children with hearing loss and deafness, in addition to Montessori activities aimed at developing their skills and modifying their behavior. This event was part of an effort to foster a productive educational environment that supports school students and helps bring joy to the children’s faces, alleviating the burden of disability on their spirits.
This activity reflects active participation in the Presidential Initiative for Human Development, "Bidaya," and reaffirms the ongoing government commitment to caring for individuals with special needs and providing them with comprehensive care.
