Meeting of the University of Mansoura Companies Committee chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Wednesday, November 20, 2024
As part of the ongoing efforts to develop and achieve academic and administrative leadership, the University of Mansoura Companies Committee held an important meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University, to discuss matters related to the university's units that will be transformed into companies aimed at competing in the Egyptian and international markets.
The meeting was attended by a group of prominent committee members representing various academic and administrative specialties, including:
- Prof. Dr. Mona El-Dakrouri, Acting Dean of the Faculty of Commerce
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed El-Zohry, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Tourism and Hotels for Education and Student Affairs
- Prof. Dr. Mostafa El-Feki, Professor at the Faculty of Commerce and Director of the University Services Marketing Center
- Prof. Dr. Mostafa El-Bendary, Emeritus Professor at the Faculty of Law
- Mr. Saad Abdel Wahab, University Secretary General
- Mrs. Amal Abdel Razek, Director General of Legal Affairs
- Mrs. Duaa Hussein, Acting Assistant Secretary General for Financial Affairs
- Dr. Ahmed El-Zohiri, Legal Member of the Office of the University President
During the meeting, discussions focused on the mechanisms for transforming the university’s internal units into competitive companies in local and international markets. Emphasis was placed on the opportunities to develop these entities and utilize the academic and technical capabilities available at the university, which would contribute to enhancing its position as a leading educational institution in Egypt and globally.
Strategies for growth and innovation were also discussed, aiming to expand the scope of these companies while ensuring the optimal use of available expertise both within and outside the university.
The meeting is considered an important step toward a bright future for the university, as it aims to enhance its role in economic development and deepen cooperation with the private sector to provide an educational environment and innovative solutions that serve both the local and international communities.
