Celebrating Beauty and Creativity: A Special Event at the Faculty of Fine Arts as Part of the Environmental Service Agency Activities and the "Beauty Caravan"
As part of the ongoing efforts to spread beauty and foster creativity, the Faculty of Fine Arts organized a remarkable event on Wednesday, February 19, under the theme "Draw with Fine Arts." The event was held as part of the Environmental Service Agency's activities, in collaboration with the International Center for Integrated Care (for People of Determination). It welcomed 20 children and young individuals, creating an atmosphere filled with inspiration and creativity.
The event was held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and was led by Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Supervisor of the Faculty. It was supervised by Dr. Reem Khairy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, with outstanding efforts from Dr. Shaimaa Taher, a lecturer in the Painting Department.
This initiative is part of the "Beauty Caravan", which aims to add artistic touches that reflect the spirit of innovation while focusing on the comprehensive development of children's abilities, especially those of determination. The event provided a platform for them to express themselves through colors and ideas, filling the space with joy and inspiration. It reaffirmed that art is a universal language capable of integrating communities and boosting self-confidence.
A total of 17 students, graduates, and faculty assistants participated in the event. The event concluded with an emotional and proud moment as children of determination were honored for their unique creativity. They were awarded commemorative medals in recognition of their talents and exceptional abilities, reinforcing the event’s spirit of appreciation and encouragement.
This event is just a step in a continuous journey to promote beauty and raise societal awareness of the importance of art in people’s lives, especially for those who need extra support to discover their unique potential. Sincere gratitude goes to everyone who contributed to the success of this initiative and to all who extend a helping hand to spread hope and beauty in the lives of others.
