The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at Mansoura University hosts economic and social empowerment activities for women as part of the "Rowad El Nile" initiative.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development, and with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Abdel Rabeh, Dean of the Faculty of Education, Dr. Samah El Said, Director of the Unit for Combating Violence Against Women, Dr. Heba Mohamed Adel, Director of the Women’s Affairs Department in Dakahlia Governorate, and Prof. Dr. Enas Abdullah, Coordinator of the Unit at the Faculty of Education, the Unit for Combating Violence Against Women at Mansoura University hosted economic and social empowerment training and activities for women as part of the Rowad El Nile initiative, which is affiliated with the National Bank of Egypt.
In cooperation between Dakahlia Governorate and Mansoura University, and in partnership with the National Bank of Egypt, a workshop titled "Economic Empowerment of Women and Its Role in Sustainable Community Development" was organized, in collaboration with the Equal Opportunities Unit of the governorate and the Unit for Combating Violence Against Women at Mansoura University.
The workshop was presented by:
- Ms. Yasmin Mohand El Gendy, Director of the Equal Opportunities Unit in Dakahlia Governorate.
- Ms. Amira El Sherbiny Ragi, Banker at the National Bank of Egypt.
- Ms. Reem Mohamed Kamel El Din, Banker at the National Bank of Egypt.
These activities aim to enhance the role of women in society by supporting them economically and socially, empowering them to play an active role in achieving sustainable development.
