The Faculties of Arts and Commerce Celebrate Egyptian Women's Day with "They Can" Event

On Sunday, March 16, the Faculty of Arts, in collaboration with the Faculty of Commerce, organized a remarkable celebration for "Egyptian Women's Day", emphasizing women’s roles in society and their leadership across various fields.

The celebration featured an inspiring workshop titled "They Can", presented by Professor Dr. Samah Hafez, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Community Service and Environmental Development. She discussed the concept of entrepreneurship and its importance for the female students of the Faculty of Arts, stressing the need for young women to pursue self-employment and creativity in diverse fields.

Additionally, Dr. Nada Hossam, Lecturer in Business Administration at the Faculty of Commerce, gave a detailed presentation on "Inspiring Female Entrepreneurs", highlighting success stories of women who broke barriers and reached the top.

At the workshop’s conclusion, Ms. Maryam Salama, a representative from "Creativa", delivered a speech on the university’s role in preparing its students for entrepreneurship, emphasizing that modern education extends beyond theoretical studies to include practical training and market readiness.

The event was graced by an elite group of university leaders, including:

  • Professor Dr. Mossad Salama, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Arts for Graduate Studies and Research.
