The Faculty of Fine Arts Celebrates International Women's Day on Wednesday, March 12, 2025
Under the patronage of Professor Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater, President of the University, and the leadership of Professor Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development and Acting Dean of the Faculty of Fine Arts, supervised by Associate Professor Dr. Reem Khairy, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and organized by Ms. Walaa Meidani, Director of Student Affairs, the Faculty of Fine Arts celebrated International Women’s Day on Wednesday, March 12.
The faculty organized a special ceremony honoring fifteen mothers of outstanding students, in recognition of their remarkable role in nurturing, supporting, and encouraging their children to achieve academic excellence.
This tribute acknowledged the mothers' efforts and sacrifices, highlighting their pivotal role in providing both emotional and educational support, which significantly contributed to their children's impressive achievements. The ceremony was attended by a number of professors, students, and administrative staff, creating a warm atmosphere filled with gratitude and appreciation for the mothers, who served as an inspiring model of generosity and patience.
The faculty administration expressed its pride and admiration for these mothers, emphasizing that their children’s success is a direct result of their dedication and devotion to raising a generation capable of overcoming challenges and achieving success. Certificates of appreciation and symbolic gifts were presented to the honored mothers as a token of gratitude for their tremendous efforts.
This celebration reflects the faculty’s profound belief in the importance of supporting women and recognizing their significant contributions — not only within the family but also in building a more advanced and successful society.
