Within the framework of Mansoura University’s vision aimed at supporting continuous development, enhancing human resource efficiency, and consolidating the concepts of institutional intelligence and administrative innovation—thus contributing to leadership and excellence at both local and regional levels—the first day of the Administrative Staff Conference was held on Wednesday, 24 December 2025, under the title “Administrative Innovation: A Gateway to Sustainable Institutional Intelligence.”
The conference was attended by 325 administrative leaders and employees from various sectors of the university.

In addition to a distinguished group of directors and deputy directors of university hospitals, as well as faculty members of the college.

In the opening session, Prof. Dr. Ashraf Shouma, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, emphasized that administrative innovation represents a cornerstone in achieving institutional intelligence and sustainability, noting that developing administrative competencies and enhancing employees’ skills is one of the most important pillars of the university’s strategy for achieving institutional excellence and keeping pace with modern development requirements.

Mr. Saad Abdel-Wahab, Secretary-General of the University, added that the university places great importance on developing administrative capacities, considering administrators as key partners in the success of the educational system, praising their vital role in supporting educational, medical, and service processes.

On the first day, the conference included several sessions discussing concepts of administrative innovation, smart institutional transformation, work system development, and building a culture of excellence, contributing to improving institutional performance quality and achieving sustainable development goals within the university.

First Session

The first lecture was titled “Egypt Vision 2030 and Strategic Planning”, delivered by:

General Director of Strategic Management at the University – Certified Excellence Assessor at the Ministry of Planning – Certified Excellence Assessor for University Awards – Team Leader and Internal ISO Auditor – Certified Trainer at Cairo University.

The second lecture, titled “The Smart Assistant for the Smart Administrator,” was delivered by:
Mr. Ahmed Hadara
Senior Library and Archives Specialist – Secretary of the Creativity and Innovation Support Unit, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University.

The session concluded with a lecture entitled “Developing Personal Skills for Administrators,” delivered by:
Dr. Karim El-Samahy
Human Resources Evaluation and Development Consultant – Director of Training and Development Projects – Member of the Technical Office of the Assistant Minister of Local Development.

Second Session

The first lecture, titled “Creativity as a Driving Force for Innovation and Development,” was delivered by:

The second lecture, titled “Administrative Innovation toward Distinguished Administration,” was delivered by:
Dr. Samah Yehia
Secretary of the Oncology Center – University Coordinator for Internal Excellence Awards.

The second session and the conference concluded with a lecture entitled “The Japanese Method for Continuous Improvement,” delivered by:
Dr. Mohamed Maher
Master’s Control Officer, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University.

As part of encouraging excellence and fostering a spirit of positive competition, the opening session witnessed honoring the winners of the “Best Administrator” Award, which aims to highlight outstanding administrative models and recognize efforts exerted in developing performance and improving the work environment across colleges, hospitals, and university centers.

Additionally, a number of administrators who obtained higher academic degrees (Master’s and PhD) were honored in recognition of their efforts in combining administrative work with academic excellence, and in encouragement to continue scientific research and professional advancement.


Second Day of the Fourth Administrative Staff Conference

Two workshops were held aiming to support institutional excellence and develop administrative performance.

First Workshop: “Administrators as Partners in Institutional Excellence”
✨ Delivered by:
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Beshoy El-Qoss Sayedhom Beshay Ibrahim
Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering and Director of the Center of Excellence and Future Foresight, Mansoura University.

The workshop addressed the pivotal role of administrators as active partners in achieving institutional excellence, mechanisms for supporting sustainable institutional performance, and spreading a culture of innovation and quality in administrative work, contributing to improving service efficiency and achieving institutional development goals.
Attendance: 91 administrative leaders and staff members.

Second Workshop: “Design Thinking”
✨ Delivered by:
Prof. Dr. Ali Yehia Nassef
Vice Dean of Delta Higher Institute for Social Work in Mansoura – International Training Expert and Consultant.

The workshop aimed to introduce the design thinking methodology as a modern approach to problem-solving and service development, and to enhance creative thinking among administrators in line with institutional development requirements and modern transformation in the university work environment.
Attendance: 86 administrative leaders and staff members.

Both workshops witnessed positive and productive interaction from participants, reflecting their awareness of the importance of developing administrative capabilities, keeping pace with institutional excellence concepts, and enhancing performance quality in educational institutions.
