A therapeutic and advisory veterinary medical convoy was organized to participate in the activities of the veterinary convoy in Ashmoun Al-Rumman Village, Dakernes Center, Dakahlia Governorate, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Within the framework of Mansoura University’s community role and in implementation of its participation in community service and environmental development, the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine – Mansoura University organized a therapeutic and advisory veterinary medical convoy to take part in the veterinary convoy activities in Ashmoun Al-Rumman Village, Dakernes Center, Dakahlia Governorate, on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
The convoy was held under the patronage of:

Prof. Dr. Sherif Youssef Khater – President of Mansoura University,

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Azim Mohamed – Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development,

With the leadership of Prof. Dr. Maha Abdo Mohamed Abdo El-Ashmawy – Dean of the Faculty,
-
Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mohamed Gabr El-Sayed Gabr – Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development,
-
And Prof. Dr. Mamdouh Saeed Mohamed Hussein – Professor and Emeritus Consultant of Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Artificial Insemination.
The convoy was implemented in cooperation with the Dakahlia Veterinary Directorate and with the participation of the Egyptian European Company. It provided comprehensive veterinary, therapeutic, and advisory services to the village residents, including medical examinations, free distribution of medicines from the convoy pharmacy, in addition to offering necessary guidance to maintain animal health and proper care.
The convoy resulted in providing veterinary services to:

350 heads of cattle and buffaloes,

450 heads of sheep and goats,
-
110 working animals,
-
2,500 poultry (household breeding),
-
50 rabbits,
-
25 pets (dogs), which were vaccinated against rabies and medically examined.
At the conclusion of the therapeutic and advisory veterinary medical convoy activities, the residents of Ashmoun Al-Rumman Village expressed their sincere thanks and appreciation to Mansoura University and all those in charge of and participating in the convoy, praising its effective role in supporting the local community and achieving sustainable development.
