Workshop Titled: Crisis and Disaster Management Plans and Procedures Faculty of Early Childhood Education – Mansoura University

The Community Service and Environmental Development Sector at the Faculty of Early Childhood Education hosted the third workshop in the crisis management workshop series organized by the General Administration of Strategic Management at Mansoura University. The workshop was entitled “Crisis and Disaster Management Plans and Procedures” and was held on Monday, February 23, 2026, at the Conference Hall of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education.

The workshop was attended by faculty vice deans, directors of crisis and disaster units, and colleagues from crisis committees and teams across various faculties.

The workshop focused on key themes including the concept of crisis plans, their definition and components, the difference between planning and practical implementation, as well as an interactive hands-on application session.

The workshop was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Samah Khamis – Vice Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education for Community Service and Environmental Development – who welcomed the attendees, extended Ramadan greetings, and emphasized the importance of taking all precautionary measures to effectively deal with any potential crises or risks.

Mr. Ahmed Hany from the Strategic Management team delivered the lecture, engaging attendees through interactive questions and discussions, addressing their inquiries, and guiding them through the practical application aspect of the workshop. Participants actively contributed to the hands-on activities and discussions, with emphasis on reviewing the scientific materials to ensure alignment between previous and current workshop objectives.

The attendees were thanked for their efforts and active participation, especially as this workshop marked the first session during the holy month of Ramadan. Their commitment to engagement was highly appreciated, and an agreement was reached regarding the date and venue of the upcoming workshop.
