Panel Discussion on “Women and Leadership in Ancient and Contemporary Times” within the Activities of "She Leads" Forum at Mansoura University
Continuing the activities of the "She Leads" forum; on the morning of Monday, March 29, the Anti-Violence Against Women Unit of the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector organized a panel discussion entitled "Women and leadership ... In ancient and contemporary times", where the discussion was moderated by Prof. Samah Tariq Hafez, vice dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs,
With the participation of Prof. Amina Shalabi, President of the National Council for Women in Dakahlia, Dr. Hiba Maher, Lecturer of Archeology at the Faculty of Arts, Mansoura University, and Engineer. Hala Othman, President of the “Bint Al-Ard” Association in Mansoura, the discussion addressed the national strategy for empowerment 2030 with its four domains, political, economic and social empowerment, in addition to the protection, as well as the role of women as leaders in ancient Egypt, where queens, governors and the main political role of Egypt's most famous queens such as Hatshepsut, in addition to presenting experiences in entrepreneurship, a model of leadership from mansoura university students, and the program "Hya Raida" launched by the University's TIEC.
And it is worth mentioning that the activities of the "She Leads" forum were launched last Sunday morning, March 28, under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Mohammed Abdel Basset, President of Mansoura University, and Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed Al- Meligy, Vice President for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and the forum is scheduled to continue until Saturday, April 3, 2021.
