The Closing of the activities of “Jusoor Al-Khair (12)” convoy in Safaga city in the Red Sea governorate

Mansoura University's comprehensive medical and awareness convoy, “Jusoor Al-Khair (12)”, concluded its activities on Wednesday evening, October 27th, after providing its services throughout the week to the people of Safaga city from October 24-27, under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Mohammed Abdul Basit, President of Mansoura University, Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, And Major General A.H. Mohib Habashi, Commander of the Southern Military Region, headed by Prof. Mahmoud Mohammed Al- Meligi, Vice-President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

For his part, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Meligi expressed his great happiness for the success of the convoy's activities, which witnessed a large turnout of residents during its stay in the Red Sea governorate, where the efforts of the medical convoy over the four days resulted in the signing of medical examinations on 4,787 cases in various medical specialties, the disbursement of the necessary medicines for them free of charge from the pharmacy of the convoy, in addition to performing 8 surgeries, and transferring 60 cases to hospitals and medical centers at Mansoura University for the necessary examinations and surgeries.

The activities of the convoy also included a number of recreational and educational activities, where the university's Child Care and Development Center team contributed to the presentation of a number of activities and workshops for more than 665 children, where workshops were organized on producing paper models for brides, cutting and pasting skills, how to recycle cups, making tock and collars, as well as some games to measure the strength of observation and the speed of the linguistic response of children, in addition to coloring and face painting, and a number of sports and recreational activities, as well as Distribution of gifts, toys and candy to children who are with their parents in the hospital to make their hearts filled with joy.

He also praised the outstanding performance of the Convoy team and praised their active participation and the great efforts they have made to success the activities of this national work, He also thanked Major General Amr Hanafi, Governor of the Red Sea, Major General Mohib Habashi, Commander of the Southern Military Region, and Major General Yasser Shaaban, President of Safaga City, for their daily follow-up of the convoy and for facilitating its mission throughout its stay in the governorate, He stressed that Mansoura University will continue to provide all of its human cadres and capabilities to continue organizing comprehensive convoys periodically to the border governorates.
