Medical Examination Signed on (4322) Citizens during Mansoura University Convoy in Al-Wadi Al-Jadid
Mansoura University's comprehensive convoy "Jusoor Al-Khair (13)” concluded its activities in Al-Wadi Al-Jadid governorate on the evening of December 29th, which was launched last Saturday under the auspices of Prof. Ashraf Mohammed Abd Al-Basit, President of Mansoura University, Major General Mohammed Al-Zamlot, Governor of Al-Wadi Al-Jadid, headed by Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed Al-Meligy, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, to provide its comprehensive services to the people of Kharga and Dakhla oases in Al-Wadi Al-Jadid Governorate.
The official spokesperson, Dr. Ahmed Rashed, announced that the efforts of the medical convoy resulted in the signing of medical examinations on (4322) cases from the residents of the Kharga and Dakhla oases and surrounding areas in various medical specialties during their stay in the governorate, and dispensing treatment to them from the convoy pharmacy free of charge, in addition to performing (31) surgeries, as well as transferring (35) cases to complete treatment and conduct the necessary medical examinations and surgeries in Mansoura University hospitals, In the field of veterinary medicine, a number of (265) cows and buffaloes, (21) sheep and goats, (150) birds, (1000) poultry and (20) rabbits were examined over the course of working days of the convoy in the governorate, as well as provide guidance and awareness-raising for breeders.
Rashed also referred to the efforts of the Child Care and Development Centre team, which resulted in the organization of a number of recreational and educational workshops for more than (685) children, where Workshops were organized on how to produce Pencil cases and bags in Gokh, how to make paper toys, produce accessories, creative disassembly assembly toys, domino shapes, produce shapes and models of colorful wooden sticks, as well as face painting and distribute gifts, toys and candy to children.
For his part, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Meligy commended the members and crew of the convoy for their active participation and great efforts, he also thanked Major General Mohammed Al-Zamlot, Governor of Al-Wadi Al-Jadid, Dr. Hanan Magdy, Deputy Governor, Dr. Ahmed Mahrous, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the governorate, and Dr. Nabil Hanafi, Head of the Dakhla Centre and City, and all the leaders for their support to the convoy throughout its stay in the governorate, he also affirmed the continuation of Mansoura University in providing all its human cadres and capabilities to serve the cities and villages of the Republic, especially the border areas.
