Beginning the activities of Mansoura University Convoy “Jusoor Al-Khair 16” in Matrouh Governorate

Prof. Sherif Youssef Khater - President of the University followed up the work of " Jusoor Al-Khair (16)" convoy in Siwa, Matrouh Governorate, where the activities of the convoy began this Sunday morning, December 4, 2022, under the chairmanship of Prof. Mahmoud Mohamed El-Melegy - Vice President of Mansoura University for Community Service and Environmental Development.

Throughout the day, the medical convoy signed a medical examination on the residents, where Prof. Nashwa Khairat Al-Husseini - head of the medical team in the convoy announced the signing of the medical examination and conducting the necessary examinations for (803) cases in various medical specialties (general surgery, neurosurgery, internal medicine, Urology, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Dermatology and Venereology, Dental, Pediatric, Orthopedics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, Chest, Radiology, Analyzes), in addition to transferring (5) cases to hospitals and medical centers at Mansoura University to perform the necessary medical examinations and surgeries.

In turn, Prof. Mahmoud Al-Meligy made an inspection tour of Siwa Central Hospital, during which he was accompanied by Major General - Commander of the Siwa Military Region, and Mr. Mohamed Bakr Youssef - Chairman of Siwa City Council, in order to ensure the proper functioning of the clinics, follow up the provision of medical services to the people and to overcome difficulties.

The efforts of the Childhood Care and Development Center team at the university also resulted in organizing a number of recreational and educational activities, where Prof. Wafa Abu Al-Maati, Director of the Childhood Care and Development Center at the University, stated that throughout the day the Centre's team provided a number of recreational items to more than (160) children, where free painting and coloring workshops were organized, as well as some competitions and sports games, in addition to face painting and the distribution of gifts and sweets to children who are with their families in the hospital.
