International Disability Day activities at the College of Childhood Education, starting within the framework of the “Speak, We Will Hear You” initiatives launched by the Decent Life Foundation.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Sherif Khater, President of Mansoura University, Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim - Vice President of the University for Community Service, Environmental Development and Leadership, Prof. Dr. Sahar Tawfiq Naseem - Dean of the Faculty of Early Childhood Education, Mansoura University, and Prof. Dr. Amal Mohamed Al-Qaddah. - Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and former Dean of the College and Professor Dr. Fayza Ahmed Abdel Razek - Vice Dean for Learning and Student Affairs.
The College of Early Childhood Education participated with a delegation of students from the program for preparing vocational rehabilitation teachers for people with special needs under the supervision of Professor Dr. Fatima Shehta Ayed Ali - Director of the Program for Preparing Vocational Rehabilitation Teachers for People with Special Needs and Professor Dr. Intisar Al-Sayed Al-Maghawri - Coordinator of Activities for the Environmental Affairs and Service Sector. Society, Dr. Ibrahim Abu Zaid - Coordinator of Student Activities and Special Categories Teacher in the Department of Curriculum and Child Education Methods, Prof. Samah Talaat - Leader of the Sign Language Team and Assistant Teacher in the Department of Psychological Sciences, Prof. Rania Ramadan - Teaching Assistant in the Department of Basic Sciences, and Prof. Sarah Al-Tantawi - Teaching assistant in the Department of Basic Sciences.
The delegation participated in the activities of the International Day of Disability, held on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Children’s Center for Creativity and Civilization, within the framework of the “Speak, We Will Hear You” initiative launched by the Decent Life Foundation to support and support all groups, especially those with disabilities. The program’s female students participated in presenting many performances. Artistic and singing in sign language, workshops for children with disabilities, employment forums, and participation in the market for products for people with disabilities.
