Under the slogan "A New Beginning for Human Building", a meeting regarding the presentation of the strategic plan for social responsibility, Wednesday, October 2, 2024

In response to the presidential initiatives launched by His Excellency President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, under the slogan "A New Beginning for Building the Human Being" towards the New Republic, an important strategic meeting was held to discuss the comprehensive plan for social responsibility 🌍. Chaired by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, and attended by an elite group of university professors and representatives of external civil society.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Abdel Azim welcomed the attendees and then reviewed in detail the main objectives of the strategic plan for social responsibility 🎯, which is based on developing society and achieving stability through the values ​​of belonging, accountability, transparency, innovation, and justice. He also stressed the importance of cooperation between all sectors to achieve these goals, emphasizing the effective role of the university in implementing the vision of the political leadership towards sustainable development 🌱.

The meeting included fruitful discussions from the attendees, where:

Prof. Alaa Al-Tamimi spoke about the importance of developing a comprehensive framework for social responsibility that allows the university to enhance its role in serving the community, and stresses the need to involve all community groups in development projects.

Prof. Dr. Mohamed Al-Zahry stressed that social responsibility is an integral part of the university's role in positively influencing society, stressing the importance of continuous communication with society to meet its needs.

Prof. Dr. Nisreen Shalaby pointed out that social responsibility is not limited to providing services, but rather requires developing sustainable solutions that positively reflect on society as a whole.

Prof. Dr. Sahar Al-Dakroury focused on the importance of strengthening partnerships with various parties to achieve the goals of social responsibility, stressing that cooperation between the university and society contributes to improving the quality of life.

Prof. Dr. Iman Khashaba stressed the need to raise awareness about social responsibility and its role in improving the social and economic conditions of citizens, stressing that success in this field requires sustainable planning.

Prof. Samah Khamis stressed that education and awareness are an integral part of the social responsibility strategy, as they play a pivotal role in building the capabilities of individuals and preparing them to contribute effectively to society.

Prof. Dr. Ahmed Al-Bayoumi stressed that the social responsibility strategy must be flexible, so that it adapts to the changing needs of society and contributes to improving the quality of life in a sustainable manner.

Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawkel spoke about the need to integrate efforts between educational institutions and the local community. She explained that the social responsibility strategy contributes to enhancing sustainable development, by involving students in development projects that aim to improve the quality of life in society and enhance the values ​​of cooperation and participation.

Prof. Dr. Amr Gabr presented his vision on strengthening community partnerships to ensure the achievement of strategic goals, noting that coordination between all parties is essential to achieve success.

Dr. Abdel Rahman Mujahid stressed the importance of integrating efforts between different sectors inside and outside the university to ensure a wide-ranging impact of community initiatives.

Dr. Ahmed Kamal stressed the need to benefit from national initiatives to enhance the university's role in social responsibility, such as the Decent Life Initiative, and support it to achieve comprehensive development.

Dr. Ezzat Al-Khamis stressed the importance of strategic planning to ensure effective implementation of programs and achieve the desired results in supporting the community.

Dr. Hossam Al-Hilal pointed out that social responsibility requires a long-term commitment from universities and society, as this contributes to achieving permanent improvements in the quality of life.

Professor Hazem Nasr stressed the importance of the media in spreading awareness about social responsibility and its goals, and the role of the media in highlighting the successes achieved by the university in this field.

Colonel Ismail Moawad pointed out the need for cooperation between academic and governmental institutions to implement social responsibility initiatives effectively, praising the joint efforts in this regard.
