Workshop entitled "Basics of Entrepreneurship and How to Start Your Own Business" Wednesday, October 16, 2024
Within the framework of the presidential initiative "Beginning to Build a New Human", which aims to empower youth and enhance their capabilities to build their professional and economic future, the Choose Your Project and Create Your Future Committee, affiliated with the Community Service and Environmental Development Sector, launched a workshop entitled "Basics of Entrepreneurship and How to Establish Private Businesses", at the Information and Communication Technology Center. The workshop was presented by Eng. Hatem Abu El-Ezz, a specialist in entrepreneurship and project development. The workshop was attended by Prof. Dr. Metwally Abu Saree, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs and Head of the "Choose Your Project" Committee, and Prof. Dr. Abeer Tawkel, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Engineering Program at the Faculty of Engineering and Rapporteur of the "Choose Your Project" Committee. During her intervention, she explained the importance of integrating artificial intelligence and modern technology in developing entrepreneurial projects, which allows youth to benefit from technological innovations in improving their business models and increasing their competitiveness. Hatem Abu El-Ezz presented rich content on the basics of entrepreneurship, with a focus on how to establish your own business from scratch. He also touched on basic concepts such as market research, identifying the target group, and developing flexible and effective business plans. Eng. Hatem used interactive methods to explain these concepts, by presenting direct challenges to the trainees, via the smart screen and using their mobile phones, which enhanced their sense of creativity and teamwork. The workshop concluded with a speech by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Abdel Azim, Vice President of the University, who shared valuable advice on how to transform ideas into reality by adopting innovation and working seriously to implement well-thought-out plans. In his explanation, he explained a simple equation that combines innovation, good planning, and work on the ground, which enables young people to achieve their dreams and establish their own projects. This workshop is an important step in promoting the concept of entrepreneurship among young people, and equipping them with the skills and tools they need to transform their ideas into real projects that contribute to community development and drive the economy. The presidential initiative "Bidaya" confirms the state's commitment to providing support to young people, and providing them with the knowledge and capabilities necessary to build a bright future based on innovation and sustainability.
